Inside PCM’s Technical Contributions to the 2025 SPE PCP Workshop in Cartagena
PCM is proud to have participated in the 2025 SPE PCP Workshop, held in Cartagena, Colombia, on November 18-19.
PCM shared three technical presentations at the event:
- “Advanced PCP for High Gas-Handling in the Tibu Field: A Colombian Case Study”, presented by Laura Matheus of Ecopetrol and Daniel Chavez
- “Extending the Limits of High-Efficiency Artificial Lift in High Downhole Temperatures: A Successful Field Trial of the Mechanically Bonded PCP System”, presented by Paul Skoczylas
- “Expanding Production Boundaries with Electric Submersible Progressing Cavity Pumps using Enhanced Bonding and Hydraulic Regulation”, presented by Paul Skoczylas
PCM's technology was also featured in one or two other presentations. This underscores the effectiveness of our Hydraulically Regulated Progressing Cavity Pump (PCM Slugger) technology and its exceptional performance.
The SPE PCP Workshop unites the global progressing cavity pump (PCP) community for short presentations and interactive discussions on key topics such as field case studies, extreme well conditions, advanced PCP materials, emerging technologies...
Designed to expand technical knowledge and share real-world experience, the workshop promotes collaboration and networking across all expertise levels.
