Successful testing on our test bench

Several tests had been done on PCM’s advanced drivehead test bench in France with ongoing pilots under deployment in the field

• Great capacity to handle torque and variation at any speed (from 30rpm to high speed)
• Smooth run at any conditions (motor remain cold +5°C / low noise / no vibration)
• Controlled backspin  thanks to  energy dissipation of the resistive load
• Proven energy consumption reduction (10-35% depending on speed & motor load)

• Run motor low speed (30 RPM)  & full speed (250RPM )
• Running with Torque 25/50/75/100/150%
• Run motor with test with 4 / 10 / 15 / 20T axial load
• Start motor with torque 25/50/75/100/150%
• Fast change of speed / torque
• Over limit test (up to VSD trip) for over voltage / over torque

Backward tests

• 400 / 800 /1200/1600Nm
• Over torque test (2000 / 2300Nm)
• Over torque & re-catch brake
