Updated PCM CD-100 Drivehead for PCP Artificial Lift Systems
PCM Artificial Lift Solutions is proud to announce that the updated CD-100 has completed extensive in-house mechanical testing and a field trial at in Canada.
The updated CD-100 keeps all the best parts from the original version with decades of field experience, and adds newer technologies already proved in our other CD Series of driveheads.
The CD-30, CD-60 and the updated CD-100 all run more efficiently than the previous generation, resulting in significant energy savings. The brake is fully internal, allowing the drivehead to be more compact.
The motor frame has been improved. The motor is now mounted on a hinged plate, making belt tensioning much simpler. The lifting eyes are moved to the sides of the drivehead, so that lifting slings or chains do not interfere with the polished rod. As with all previous CD/CG series driveheads from PCM, the drive is available with an anti-ejection clamp.
Like all CD Series driveheads, the CD-100 comes standard with the environmental PCM EcoSeal (as shown) or is available with a traditional stuffing box.
The updated CD-100 can be ordered with three different sizes of thrust bearing (all of which are of the highest quality, and made in Germany) to cover a large range of applications.
PCM Artificial Lift Systems expects that the updated CD-100 will be available by the end of the year.
