PCM Artificial Lift office and workshops in Colombia

PCM set up PCM Colombia SAS branch in 2012. The activity started to grow slowly for PCM with small projects in artificial lift solutions with supply and services of PCM Moineau™ during 2013, and in 2015 with 2 technological milestones: the successful thermal application trial using PCM Vulcain™ and implementation of PCM Slugger in a gassy well.

This first PCM Slugger (HRPCP) also helped PCM to sign its first long-term supply and services contract in Colombia with Vetra, operator.

By the end of 2016, another long-term supply and services contract was awarded to PCM by Petrosantader, a small private operator with important number of small size PCPs. This contract has been renewed twice, thanks to the good performance of PCM.

After a tough year 2017, consequence of oil price drop and slow down of O&G activity, greatest achievement for PCM Colombia came late in 2018 with the award of Ecopetrol (national oil company and biggest operator in Colombia) PCP contract. A full-scale contract that boosted PCM growth during 2019 with a much bigger organization and deployment of 2 new complete PCP service workshops in the country.
